There are 2 main effects:
1. Alveolus lesion: Surfactant secretion lowered => Superficial tension increased => Favour liquide flowing to Alveoli
2. Endothelial of vessels: Transformation from Fibrinogen to Fibrin appeared => Inhibe Surfactant production => Liquid flow into Alveoli
All these mechanisms leading to liquid flowing in Alveoli, are assumed to have destroyed the Alveoli which then becoming Pulmonary Oedema.
